Shew Flu
Let me tell y'all there is nothing like the flu that can bring you right back to reality and make you realize you are human. Flu: Oh you went on vacation last week and had the most amazing time with your husband? Me: I sure did. It was wonderful and I loved that we got to be together all the time. Flu: Haha let me fix that. Me: Noooooooo. I'll do anything to keep him well Flu: Nahhh I'll just make you both sick Living in the same house as my husband but on opposite sides has literally been the absolute worst. I had been having a pity party because I couldn't kiss or hug him. My interaction with him has been to bring him gatorade, his medicine, and to check on him periodically when he is asleep to watch his chest rise and fall (like the absolute freak that I am.) This past few days put so many things into perspective for me. So often I find myself taking things for granted especially with my husband.
