Power Of Prayer

How many times have bad things happened in your life that make you realize things can change in the blink if an eye? How many times do you wish you hadn't said that mean thing to your sibling or significant other and immediately told them you're sorry? What if you blew it off and said I'll just apologize next time I see them? What if there wasn't a next time?

Life is precious, so unbelievably precious. We don't or at least I don't realize that until something unexplainable happens that makes you take a step back and take a good hard look at life. That happened this week to us. A family that JT and I love dearly received news that none of us were expecting and it really made me think about so many things. It made me think of all the prayers I've prayed for and all that ones that have been prayed on my behalf in the last few months and how much each one has meant to me because it made me realize just how powerful God is and how each prayer we send to him is important. He hears them all! It made me aware of just how important family is (by blood, by marriage or someone you're just that close to.) They are yours and in a time of need it is up to you as that family to step in where you can to help lift burdens no matter how miniscule they may seem to you it means more to them than you may ever know. I'm thankful to be a part of a family like that.

Most importantly it made me realize that God is the Great Physician. He is the business of healing. He has the power to heal before any doctor on Earth can and I know this situation will be no different.

Do a favor for me? Please pray for this sweet family! They deserve each and every prayer. Maybe you don't know what to say because you don't know enough about the story, but maybe pray this prayer if you are having trouble finding the words:
"Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you asking for grace and mercy for this family. I pray that you heal this person wholely. I pray that you not only give them the mental and physical strength for this battle, but you give it to their loved ones as well because they need mental and physical strength to help this person fight. I pray that you wrap them in your love and mercy. We do not always understand why, God, but I just ask that you give them peace that you are with them during this time. In Jesus' name I pray, amen."

Thank you for praying for them! Your thoughts and well wishes mean so much!
