Answered Prayers
To start off I have the greatest earthly father imaginable. I know we all think we have the greatest parents, but to me I literally hit the jackpot! I could sing his praises daily because he just really is that great. My Dad was my first love and taught me how a man was suppose to treat a lady and I knew when I met JT that he would always treat me the way I should be treated (thanks Mr. Mike and Mrs. Kathy for raising him that way☺) JT has treated me just the way my Dad treats my Mom every single day and I could not be more greatful for that kind of relationship with my own husband.
I apologize if you get tired of me talking about my husband. Just kidding. I'm not going to apologize because I want to brag on how great of a human he is.
Last week I paid an unwanted visit to the hospital via an ambulance. JT beat the ambulance to the hospital and didn't leave me unless it was to go get my family to come back to the room. Well the same thing tried to happen again this week. I started to feel the same way again at home and can I tell you what my man did? He wrapped his arms around me and prayed for me and with me until I started to feel better. He prayed and then I prayed. He then proceeded to talk to me about God and how much of a difference God has made in our lives in the past few months. He told me how far I had come and how proud he was of what I was doing with my writings. He just went on and on to help distract me. JT knows our relationship is strong, but he could tell how much of difference there was in our relationship with Christ truly at the center of it. He calmed my nerves and the weight of the world lifted off of my chest. Hospital averted thanks to a husband who prayed away the problems!
*Side note to all the single ladies of the world: Wait. Wait for a man who will pray with you and for you. I don't care if you wait until you are 60 years old. You wait for that man who is going to make Christ the center of your relationship.
