Rather Have 4 Quarters Than 100 Pennies

Many of you have that one friend that you rarely see, but when you do y'all pick up right where y'all left off. That's Ashley for me. I met Ashley in Biology class when I was 21 or 22 (I can't really remember to tell you the truth.) We carried the weight of the rest of the AG department through that class lol. We had a bunch of classes together until we graduated and we grew pretty close! Maybe it was our sarcasm that brought us together or our ability to roll our eyes at the same time from across the room when a pop quiz was given. Either way we've been stuck like glue ever since. She had a day off this week and came to spend it with me! We had the ultimate girls day filled day nail painting, food, facials, and movies.
I'm not trying to sound pitiful or gain sympathy when I say this, but when I count my true friends they are all related to me except Ashley. I learned the hard way back in college that you don't need a lot of friends to be cool, which is what I felt like I needed to be at that time. Luckily, I found Ashley who has been a friend to me in every sense of the word that you can be.
It's kind of funny that Ashley had already graduated college with a degree and had come back to college for a different degree (smarty pants) when I met her. I guess God brought her back just to meet me 😉.
