Things You May Or May Not Know

Thank y'all for sticking with me through some serious posts. Y'all are the real MVPs! I thought I would switch it up and answer 10 random questions to help some people get to know me better and to have a little bit of fun.☺

1. What is your favorite dessert? Chocolate cake with a layer of chocolate pudding and a layer of cool whip. (If you have never had it before just call or text me and I'll get my Momma to make you one so you won't be missing out)

2. Were you named after someone? First name: I was named after Aslan from the Chronicles of Narnia (long before it was ever a movie) and my parents changed the spelling to make it more feminine.
Middle name: I was named after my Momma's older sister Machelle'.
So I'm Azlynn Machelle' to most and
Azy-Lynn May-chelle' to few.

3. What are your favorite smells? Fresh cut hay and cured tobacco

4. Do you have any special talents? I learned all of the presidents in the 4th grade and can still rattle them off to this day (it's a fun party trick)

5. What is your favorite motto? God gives His toughest battles to His strongest soldiers

6. What did you want to be when you were a kid? I wanted to be a firefighter until I was about 16. I had my birthday party with my fireman birthday cake (the house had smoke billowing out of the windows so it was pretty legit in 1996) and I had my turnout gear that I would throw on pretty quickly if I do say so myself when my Daddy was burning something outside and he would let me jump over the little piles all over the yard all while I pretended to fight that fire, hard. I could also walk through the WFRS safety house at the Wilson Mall with my eyes closed.

7. What do you love for breakfast? I can eat breakfast at any time of day. I love pancakes or waffles (I don't discriminate) scrambled eggs, bacon, and apple juice

8. If you could have dinner with any 3 people who would you choose? I would pick Gerald Aycock, Earl Brownfield, and Dortha Brownfield, but I would call them Grandaddy, PaPa, and Grammie

9. List your 3 favorite foods from restaurants. Panera Bread Asian Chicken Salad, Fast Break bacon biscuit (is a gas station a restaurant?), and Olive Garden Pumpkin Cheesecake (I will literally just order the pumpkin cheesecake and nothing else. My loyalty is to the cheesecake!)

10. Describe your perfect Saturday. Middle of Winter with snow on the ground, fleece pajamas on, Grandma's vegetable soup simmering on the stove, hot chocolate, all the junk food, Jordan and Harlow curled up on the couch watching tv while all 3 of us share a bag of goldfish
